      Question Meds induce lucid dreaming?

Hi! I'm new, and excited to be here!

About 6 years ago I started taking Paxil for anxiety attacks (I was 16.) Ever since, I have had extremely "real" dreams. I have not had any dreams I can control (yet!) but my dreams feel so real and are so detailed, that many times I will wake up and not remember if it was real or not. For example: In my dreams I will talk or text someone and the next day I wont remember if I really called them or not. I have also dreamed about having relationships with random people I have come across, and they are so real in my dreams, when I see them, I can help but think I know them. (Like our coffee delivery guy!)

I often wake up tired if I was doing something exhausting in my dreams. I also have panic attacks in my dreams at least once a week. I have only had a couple throughout my entire life but I think I fear having them so much that I dream them? or maybe it is my body's way of controlling my panic by letting it loose when I sleep?

Anyways, has anyone else had these dreams after being put on meds? Anyway, since I already have such extreme dreams, I am on this site looking to control them so I can have an enjoyable experience. I cant wait to try!

For one try xanax instead, should work out better for you,no I'm not a doctor just get a secound opinon! don't forget how the goverment wants us on these mind control drugs when we don't need to be ,hensh why they give you that instead of this!? but back to the topic...I have the very reallistic dreams myself (minus the meds) my opinon on it is that the subconscious knows were trying to become lucid and makes the dreams as real as possible? I don't think it like's working backwards... its like letting the monkey drive the car. think how you'd feel in the passenger seat??!!??

Hmm I don't know much about meds and dreams, except that some are supposed to suppress REM. I am a huge fan of using dreams for therapeutic means, though Welcome to the forums!
