After 4 years, first lucid dream.

I have had occasional sleep paralysis, and times where I have said "This is a dream", but I would instantly wake up.

Two weeks ago I had my first "lucid" dream. I was staying the night at my parents house and all of a sudden "woke up" in my apartment bedroom. I instantly realized I was dreaming and tried to continue the dream. I start to feel numb and fell in to sleep paralysis where I then felt like my mind and body were being sucked into a black hole. This black hole was basically sleep and I lost lucidity.

Last night I finally had my first lucid dream that I could control. I was walking out of a building and saw a peacock riding a tricycle. That triggered I was dreaming, and I instantly realized I had a peacock tail. I decided to jump in the air, when I realized the tail allowed me to jump extremely high and glide slowly back down. I jumped around several times completely lucid and watched the peacock ride the bike around the block until I lost lucidity.

I'm so excited to really start seeing what this feels like. I only hope this will continue, and that I can attain lucidity for longer periods of time.

I also had my first lucid dream. I fell asleep in the middle of the day. i pulled out my dream journal right before and just looked at the one dream that i had.

anyway... i was at school, and i was on the ground and everyone was looking at me. my friend and i walked into the gym and he told me that he was dreaming. i said that i was too! so i told him to think of the hottest girl in school. and for some reason, he chased this chicken out of a closet. i laughed cause it turned out that it was a guy. so then i saw the bleachers and decided to try and jump to it.(just like you said that you had mad hops on your dream) sure enough i jumped all the way up it. when i jumped down, i felt myself losing lucidity, so i stopped for a second and concentrated on what i was doing. but I couldnt help it. i Woke up, thinking that i did in real life. all my funiture was moved around. so i got up looking for my cell phone and i couldent. i then realized an angel outside of my window. it wasnt scary or anything. i left my room for just a second to tell my mom to come fast and when i got back there was no angel. i felt that i wanted to wake up now. so then i like was hitting myself or something. i finally woke up in a dream again. i thought for sure that this was real. so i look outside and there is this huge helicopter. it wasnt weird to me at all. so i saw this toy helicopter in my room so i picked it up and started spinning the prop. and the big one started spinning too. it was like one of those dolls that you poke with needles. so i still could not find my cell phone. i ran into my garage and found my mom and my sister and her boyfriend. they were getting married i guess. so i told my mom that i had a lucid dream for the first time. and then my mom called me from downstairs and thats when i really woke up. i slept through two text messages on high.
This dream felt soo!! real when it happened. i am so glad that I just experienced this.
