I found this site using Google to search for information on Lucid Dreaming, I have been trying to do this for awhile now. I have became lucid in my dreams a few times, most of which I became excited and have woken up. I was only lucid in one dream that I didn't wake up from so far. Or perhaps I just dreamed that I realized it was a dream? =P Anyway, in this dream I went through lots of doors, and scenes changed rapidly, like a blur. Like my mind was working so fast that I felt as if I couldn't stay in one area or I would awaken, but this caused me to wake up. So I have a few questions.
What steps do you take before you sleep to induce a calmer sleep?
What are some ways that I could train myself to realize dreams are dreams?
I have read a few, such as drawing an image or letter on my hand, or looking in a mirror. But I feel like to be able to control myself in a dream I would already have to be lucid.
I have been writing in a dream diary for a bit now, trying to make myself remember dreams more often, hoping that this would make it easier for me to dream more intensely.
How do I make myself able to dream consciously. D; It bugs me.
