Well, not my first in my life, but the first since I actually tried to start lucid dreaming.

I've been trying reallly hard every night since the end of august and this is the first time I've actually had a glimpse of an LD since then. The last time I had a lucid dream was a few years ago at least, and I've only had like 3 in my life, so the fact that it happened now is very encouraging.

As for the actual dream, it didn't last very long, and there were a few things that made it harder to control.
First, when I suspected it was a dream, I looked at my left hand and I only had 4 fingers, then back at my right hand, then back at my left hand, back to normal. but sweet, I'm dreaming. I was in a dark room in an enclosed space, which makes it hard to do the things I normally do to control a dream: turn a corner and imagine what I want on the other side, and be able to make the dream last longer by spinning. Also, I couldn't seem to move very easily and I was kind of trapped under this ladder. It was getting darker in the room so I thought I was losing it, and since I couldn't spin around (I was crouching) I tried to focus really hard on an object. Didn't really work apparently, because that's the last thing I remember happening.

Also I dunno if theres anything you can do about it, but I felt like I was really slow, like those dreams where you're getting chased and you're moving really slow (like that dane cook joke)
anything you can do to speed up?
