      Welcome to DV loocid!

You sound like one lucky individual. It sounds like you have a photographic memory, or something similar.

On your question about LD music -- I've had this experience too. I often have "musical' dreams with everyone singing. I wish I could better remember it when I awake. From what I understand, the brain is biased toward dream memories. It quickly writes new information over them, so they are hard to hang on to.

I can only speak from my own experience, but as a person with clinical depression, I've found focused use of LDs to be benificial toward my mood and functioning. I use many LDs to get in touch with my subconscious and to discuss things I need to work on.

Getting a LD about a specific scenario is, for most people, one of the most challenging aspects of lucid dreaming. However, with dedication, some technique, and a little random luck (or cooperation from the subconscious) it can be done.

      1) That's not strange. You just have a better than average memory. Some people with brain disorders, such as savants, can remember entire books are recite them from memory.

      2) You can hear during dreams. Your sense of hearing is never disconnected, as a survival tactic.

      3) Any non-physical brain injury could technically be treated by the affected person. I believe that depression, because of it's nature and effect on the mind, is harder than others. Your mild case would be easier though. I have no specific strategies to share.

      4) I don't exactly understand what you're saying I can remember anything from waking life in my dreams.

I think LD would be a great tool to get un-depressed. There is always the inherent benefits of achieving goals and building self confidence. Building your awareness during waking hours could have the side effect of noticing all the amazing things life has to offer. If you seek more active participation, you could always have conversations with your dream characters, asking them questions about yourself and your life.

I find that paying attention to all my dreams, lucid and non-lucid, helps me stay happier. It helps me find out what I really want from my life.
