I am new here and just thought I'd post to introduce myself. I've read a lot about lucid dreaming and tried it in the past, but gave up after a while. And then last night, months after I'd given up trying, I had a lucid dream. It was a bit weird because I realized I must be dreaming because my friends hair color was changing every few seconds, from blonde to blue to other colors. The dream didn't last long after that though so I was disappointed yet very excited at the same time! It seemed to shift from a lucid dream back into a regular dream...I didn't actually wake up. Hopefully I can learn more about it here, it seems to be a very informative site

Congrats on the lucid. Too bad it slipped back into a regular dream. I hate it when that happens. With a little practice, you should be able to hold onto your awareness for longs.
