      I don't think I have never had a non-lucid dream

Is this strange? Since as long as I can remember I have always known I am dreaming in my dreams, I don't control the dreams but I always known I am dreaming. I can ALWAYS glide in my dreams, I don't fly or jump of a building I just jump over something and can glide through the air for miles. I spend a lot of time playing computer games so my favourite dreams are when I am actually in a computer game, or having a nightmare (I am never scared of nightmares because I just close my eyes tightly and open them again if I want to wake up). The only annoying thing about my dreams is I can never punch or kick people, I always feel to weak to move my arms, any ideas why this is, is it normal?
I can also wake up and go to the toilet go back to bed and go directly into the same dream.
I've never been able to change anything about my dreams though, any tips?

      Welcome to DV!

This in itself might be considered a form of dream control. I have a similar flying style; I just sort of will myself through the air, and it doesn't take a lot of effort, although trying to control how high I go can be a pain at times. If you want to punch or kick but feel too weak, maybe it's similar to wanting to fly but not feeling like you can. In dreams it's the thoughts that count, which can either help dream control or make it worse (if you think about what you don't want to happen, it might happen). Try willing yourself to be able to punch, the same way you will yourself to fly.

I wouldn't call it strange. It's usually not like that for most people, but it's not unheard of. You'll find that members on the site will refer to people like you as "naturals."

You're just lacking dream control. You have the lucid part down (realizing you're dreaming) you just have to learn how to control it. There are a ton of tutorials that you'll be able to find with a quick search. Once you get practicing and know what you're doing it will be easier.
