Hi, im david.

I have insomnia and sleep intrigues me. Im exited about the idea of controlling my own dream, and I can't wait to learn how to do this amazing thing.

I was searching for things to help me sleep on the tinternet, and stumbled across lucid dreaming. It interested me, so i searched to find out more.

It's not that I have trouble staying asleep, it's just it can sometimes take me up to two or three hours a night to get to sleep. im not under any extreme stress, I didn't just break up with my girlfriend and nobody in my family has died recently - I've had it my whole life and I learned to deal with it. I want to know this skill of lucid dreaming so I can at least turn something bad into something literally beyond this world.

Last night was my first try, upon reading the whole of the DV lucid dreaming pages at 11PM I set upon lying in my bed and repeating "I want to remember my dream" until I fell asleep. I awoke this morning remembering about five minutes of my dream, where I started to freerun around walls that had appeared in random places around my school while my friend Jordan offered me £25 to get him 15 pokemon instrumental songs. Unfortunatley, dismissing the obvious point that it was a dream, I failed to turn it lucid.

It's a start though.

Hope to see you guys around somewhere
