New here, some questions i'd like help with.

      Hello,
my name is justan, and i am 18.
recently, i have been having dreams, and flashbacks? so to say i guess, of 3 events of my life.

the first being, my birth, me and my mother were almsot lost ( this is the one i see the least )

secondly, my ex, i keep having dreams about her, but its very different, i notice more detail then in real life of the surroundings and atmosphere, but i still know the majority of the message she says. this happens, and i do not know it is a dream, and i wakeup, thinking it was a previous day, kind of like, i forget everything inbetween when we parted, and the dream, for instance, i woke up one morning, having drempt, i got engaged to her, so i woke up, went to the phone to call her, and my mother asked who i was calling, i said my fiance, and she looked at me weird, and that is when i realized it had been a dream.

the 3rd being, after the second one, and another dream ( its different everytime usualy around current timeframe, but different outcomes of now )
i get thrown into a dream, everything is dark, i see things moving but there far down, i hear voices, upwords to 4 proboly, and they are very muffled.
i wake up, and i am dreanched in sweat like someone poured water on me.

these are causeing me to become worried for my own mental health, because their are times where i sit here and just listin to music and think about them.
its very disturbing and i hope someone can help me find the root of this.

      thank you very much,
      Justan

      Welcome to DV Justan!

Although it is normal to dream about our past, people from our past, and fear I suspect something else is going on besides disturbing dreams for you. Being 18 can be hellish and very confusing.

I hope you find friends and good advice here! There are a lot of great people at DV.

But honestly I think you should consider going to a doctor and talking about what has been going on in your mind lately. Confusing dreams with reality even when you wake up is not a fun thing to do.

      Good luck!
