      Just can't do it!

I have not been making much progress with WILD or lucid dreaming at all for that matter...and i want to know what I'm doing wrong, if anything. Basically, my routine is simple going to bed, waking up after 5 hours of sleep, and laying of my back, and relaxing, focusing on my breathing. After about 15 minutes, my body will go numb, but thats about it. I hear nothing, feeling no strange vibrations...nothing! Once I thought I hear sounds, and my leg was starting to twitch, but I think it was because I was so obsessed with the idea of entering a dream that I didn't!

Have you tried anything apart from WILD? WILD is probably the hardest method of all that I know so perhaps you could try something easyer like MILD?

Yes. WILD is hard. Too hard. In my opinion, only dedicated control freaks should try it. And try it they shall.

Well, I really don't like the WILD teqnique, I'm very....I'm what you just explained, so I really would like to perfect the WILD one.

Really, all I want to know is how long does it usually take to induce a WILD? Because it seems every night when I'm trying to relax I think to myself "am I there yet?" and I keep trying to focus, and it's just totally not working. I want to know how long the vibrations, sounds, or imagery take to happen.

Some people can master WILD with little difficulty, others, like me, had to work at it. Do not neglect the other techniques while learning to WILD. Try everything you can to become lucid. Mastery of WILD will come with practice and patience!

      Hey

I havn't tried it myself, but have read many times of users doing a WBTB, except they get out of bed. Times can be from 15 min up to 45, you can read about lucid dreaming or have a coffee and biscuit if it suits you. So instead of staying in bed maybe getting up for a little while, then going back to bed, might benefit you.
Apart from that, relaxation and light meditation make it so much easier to attempt these types of things.

If it helps or not, in my opinion, relaxation and meditation are exactly the same as a muscle in weight training, the more you use it the stronger it gets

      Good luck!

(sorry had to edit that, lost track and posted about wbtb instead of wild, lol didn't mean to mess you around)
      n00bs i love you
