OK, what category does this fall into?

Last night I was experiencing a very pleasant regular dream, and of course, started to wake just as it was getting really good. I wanted to be back in the dream so I started spinning, something I've had luck with before. I was kind of far out of the dream and into wakefulness when I started and had a hard time at first, since I lost my visual. But I kept at it and started seeing an effect like blank, white with blue computer monitors moving in front of me from right to left. Wow! This really promoted the spinning effect. Then I felt the sleep paralysis and the sensation of my body getting really heavy and sinking into the bed. At the same time I was hearing various sounds. There was an electrical buzzing sound and three different voices and also later a rythmic musical beat. I was totally aware of what was happening, thinking this was so cool and looking forward to a lucid dream. My body started to roll over onto my back (I was physically sleeping on my right side, almost on my stomach). I knew I wasn't really moving, so I just let it go. I stopped rolling for a moment then started rolling back the other way to where I started. All the time the sounds and imagery were continuing. Then I started rolling back again, but kept on going over and over. My dream hand was feeling for the edge of the bed after each revolution, and eventually there was the edge and I stopped and woke up! I was mad that I woke but was even more thrilled by the experience I did have. In hindsight, maybe I should have let myself roll over the edge. I didn't want to at the time because I was afraid I'd wake up, but maybe I would have rolled into something more exciting. What did I experience?

try to remain calm next time and roll off the bed.
if you get too excited, and your adrenalin kicks in you will wake up.
It is a great exciting experience and feels real (like you are awake).
I always roll off my bed that way, just before going into a LD. Sometimes false awakenings tend to happen during that time.
Keep trying the spinning technique, it seems to be working for you.
