It really depends and varies from time to time. I find though, in most of my Lucid Dreams that it really does feel like "real life" and it is as clear as "real life" too. That why you have to do things called Reality Checks, such as pinching your noes and trying to breathe or pinching yourself to see if it hurts. You do these things because your dreams are so much like real life, you have to do these tests to make sure it's not real life.

I just re-read that and it was very confusing. But I hope you understand! haha

You've dreamt before, correct? If you have, you'll have had some pretty messed up dreams (eg. being in space playing tennis with a koala. Did that seem real? Don't lie, it did. If it didn't, you would have become lucid. No matter what is happening in a lucid dream, from space koalas to a real life situation it will seem perfectly realistic.

(And pinching yourself will still hurt!!! It is not a reliable reality check. Count your fingers instead)

Yes. Or you should plug your nose and try to breathe, or try to poke a hole in your hand with your finger. The first one works best for me.

      By the way,

Yes. In your dreams, if you plug your nose, you can still breath. It feels really cool too. Also, if you look at your hand, it will usually look different in some way. It might a different number of fingers or just look deformed, or it might just be missing. It is possible for RCs to fail though, so do other ones if the first one fails.

Lucid dreams don't feel real, but they certainly don't feel fake either. They feel kind of surreal. I'm not sure how old you are, but you know that feeling that you get when you're really drunk? That's kind of what a lucid dream feels like, but without the lack of judgement.
