Talking Wow, first lucid dream... I think.

Wow that was so awesome, first of all, it was a WILD, I think, because i woke up around 3:30AM and went to bed at 11:00PM and when i went back to bed at 3:40, it was almost like instant lucid dream, so, heres my dream... I suddenly wake up and im in my bed so I do a reality check, I plug my nose and try to breathe, and I can, so I know im dreaming, so I get out of bed and walk down my stairs, I then put my shoes on and for some reason I couldnt get them on, so im getting frustrated by now and I am ready to just leave without my shoes on (I dont know why I didnt, lol), but I get my shoes on and walk outside, it looks just like my reallife yard, so I walk toward my neighboors house across the street and go to the back of there house to try to go in but there was a hole in the step so I just stare at the hole for a minute and then suddenly, I start seeing something coming from it, so I go closer and it looks like a dog at first but then it gets completely out of the hole and it stares at me and now that its out of the hole it looks like a dragon hatchling off of a game I play called tibia, but yea, the dragon thing is staring at me and all of a sudden, it jumps at me and thats all I remember, but it was so cool, and I forget who said to me that plugging your nose and breathing feels cool, but it feels awesome, lol, but yea, it was soooooooooo cool, I hope I have another one tonight

I have the same feeling on the days that I LD, I feel so happy that I lose every notion of stress.

Yes, your dreams tend to effect your emotions like the event in your dreams actually happened. This is why people with reoccurring nightmares often lead to emotional problems, and vice versa.

Cool, I wanna lucid dream more often now, I almost got remembering my dreams down pat but I cant seem to remember to look for a dream sign or do a reality check when im dreaming, I do reality checks pretty often in real life to get used to doing them, but I cant seem to remember in my dreams.

I really like the plugging nose idea! I will try to make it a habit. Congrats on your first LD!

Yeah i know what you mean, in my dreams i have a bad memory but in real life i remember most of my dreams. During the day every now and then i do reality checks, but then when i dream i forget to do them, i have don'e one reality check in my dreams in about 1 or 2 months when i had a lucid dream about my old neighborhood when i lived there as a child. Hopefully some one will have some advice to help people to do reality checks in our dreams. No matter what we dream about or how busy we are in dreams.
