      Was it a Lucid Dream.?

      Sorry for my English.

Two days ago, I had a Dream. Actually was a sucession of dreams. I thought that I was having lucid dreams because I could control more or less my dream. There was a lot of bright colors. A some point for example I was dreaming that I was on the top of a 20 story building ( many years ago in Havana) and I could see people flying but I was affraid of doing so. Taht was an indication that I was not completely lucid. Minutes later I was flying over a river. I was loosing lucidity and I tried to grab a peace of rock with my hands that worked for a while. I tried other technique that is putting a lot of attention in an object and it worked too. While I was dreaming a could hear the voices of my mother and my sister as a proof that I was having a lucid dream, but all of the sudden I had a false awakening and realized that I was dreaming because my mother and sister lived in Cuba. So my question is this. Was I dreaming about having a lucid dream? In this case even when I used those tecnniques for staying lucid, I think was not realy a lucid dream. I m not really sure, because a some point during the dream I thought about this formula S = vot =- 1/2 At2 that is formula for calculating space using initial velocity and aceleration. I did that because I read that during a non ludid dream it would be very difficulf for people to perform even simple calculations.

The definition of a lucid dream is that, at some point, you realize it is a dream. It is that simple. So yes, this was a lucid dream.
