for the first week,buy a notepad and write down all dreams in it AS SOON AS YOU GET UP. 10 seconds after you awaken you lose most memory of your dreams. so when you wake,just lie there and remember your dreams,then write them down asap.
also in the first week,get into the rhythem of practicing techniques. the second week you should just practice and the third week the same, but you can expect LDs to occur round this time.
optional things are to go to a local chemist of herbal shop and buy some Vitamin B6. This helps with lucid dreaming,50mg (normally one tablet) per night will increase chances significantly,when used with a technique of course.
