      now here's a question...

Would smoking a ciggarette right before trying to LD hinder my chances for LD?
I ask just because of the nicotine that would be in my body.
Dripping time into a seed that grows into the world and sprouts a fruit that ripens into humans. They stretch up into the sky looking for purpose, wandering when and if their time has come. Realizing the potential they have, they select their paths which weave in and out to make the good and the bad, the pure and the corrupt...

If anything, it might help. The nicotine in your body will form a habbit with your mind. If you are used to smoking before dreaming, your body will associate the two together and dreaming will be reinforced with your nightly routine. Also, the nicotine levels could keep you slightly more aware and on the edge when you are falling asleep so you can stay consious as you transition into your dreams. See how it works for you, if it helps, keep doing it, if not just stop it. Let me know how it goes

I agree with Barbizzle that associating a pleasant activity with dreaming may help..now whether smoking is the best option, well I won't judge you!
