So, I've been reading around and noticed that most first time Lucid Dreamers wake up after realizing they're in a Lucid Dream. However, when I first had a lucid dream I didn't wake up. I actually was able to control the dream and keep it going for quite awhile. |

"Dreams are as portals. Flat visions of misty places. But I can write dreams!" - Myst Uru
When I had my first lucid dream i was only about 5. i didn't find out about lucid dreams until yesterday. i remember just knowing i was in a dream and screaming "WAKE ME UP!" in the dream because i was having a nightmare. I expected that i would actually talk in real life (well, i used to sleep with my parents when i was 5) and hopefully my parents would wake me up. after realizing i couldn't do this after a few lucid dreams, i just basicly stopped having lucid dreams altogether. ocassionally, i would have a lucid dream here and there but not so recently. hopefully, i can recognize signs in my dreams that will make me realise it's a dream. after looking back on previous dreams, i can recognise some signs to tell it's a lucid dream. one that i find most common in them are not being able to scream or nobody can hear me when i'm screaming. |
