Hi, I'm pretty new to DV and the whole lucid dreaming concept, and as a matter of fact it was about three days ago that I found this site. I just joined today too, and I was wondering if it was odd to shake violently when phasing out of a lucid dream. I would describe this shaking as a shiver from being very cold.

I'm not even sure if this was a true lucid dream or not, because I haven't really kept to the schedule (which some say it would take a couple weeks to even start remember dreams etc.) so it may be odd to even have a lucid dream at this point. The dream was fun, the parts I remember, but just in case it may be relevant I will describe the basics leading up to the lucid part.

I was basically in a place where I became semi-aware I wasn't supposed to be , and then I saw an object that shouldn't have been there. I thought immedietly I was dreaming, and the dream 'tone' went from a golden brown hue to a crisper blue one. Then I started shaking, and last I heard my name being called, looked over and immediatly woke up.

A couple more details which may or may not explain some things. Before visiting this site for the first time, I came across a horror story related to lucid dreaming and other general creepy stuff, and I kind of thought I would never want to lucid dream because of that. I did more research which changed my mind. When I came to the realization I was dreaming, I think I started thinking about those horror stories which made me scared, and therefore, killed the dream, but I'm not to sure.

I tried searching shake and shaking, but I came up nothing. So I thought maybe I should ask. Any help is much appreciated, and sorry for the length and possible grammar mistakes.
