Hey, glad to meet ya and welcome to DV I've had nightmares about that bitch before God are they scary. Did you know that you were lucid during the dream itself? If this ever happens again, try to remember to change your mood to positive thoughts, to try to be friendly towards the things that are scaring you in your dreams because they will usually reciprocate your friendly behavior. Same, to a certain extent, goes for SP- though if you're waking up from a nightmare into SP that may be difficult.

      Welcome to DVs man!
Your not the only one who had a Lucid nightmare before. I had one a while back and posted it in this thread that I started.

In it, basically I found myself %100 Lucid in an abandoned hospital. It was unnaturally dark and creepy. Then out of the blue, a female undead nurse appeared just staring at me. Somewhere along the line, I freaked b/c I couldnt make here go away like I wanted. I eventually ran for it, and every time I turned around to look back she was always right behind me. I lost lucidity completely and fell into a full-blown nightmare.

Ive also had many negative experiences with SP (ghosts, dead people, aliens) in my younger years but have since used it to my advantage in WILDing (Wake-Induced Lucid Dreaming). I suggest that you start keeping a Dream Journal to help with your recall and maybe start practicing WILDs if you want to have more of and learn how to control these lucid dreams.
