      Exclamation Dream Recall Help!

I'm just starting to pratice dream recall for lucid dreaming. I was wondering, i know you need to wake up after the REM period to remember the dreams, will you just start remembering dreams when you wake up in the morning or do you have to wake up in the middle of the night forever if you want to remember your lucid dreams?

Well I can only tell you from my own experience; you have to focus before going to bed THAT; you will type down ANYTHING you can remember from the dream(s) that you have had during the night.

If you can't remember it the first night, wait till next night and focus again. AS SOON AS YOU WAKE UP you have to try to remember. And write down ANYTHING you remember no matter how small the detail is. And eventually you wont need to write anything down as your dream-memory becomes better and better for each time

thanks, i just one night was thinking "wouldn't it be so fun a neat to control your dreams or actually know that your dreaming while you are dreaming" and i started googling and found great information from this site. It seems so crazy, you can do ANYTHING in a dream...i really need to experience it to really feel what it's like. I really hope i'm a good learner and that i will get these chances soon and often, sounds like a whole other world that you can create and control however you want. I can't wait for the first time!

im as well new with the dream jornal, but i find what helps, because i am as well to lazy to get up in the middle of the knight and right down a hole dream, i find what helps is to keep some paper on the side of your desk and right down the very last thing that happend in your dream. it can be one word sometimes, but just enof to jog your memory in the morning to wright the dream down.

i found out about lucid dreaming the same way you did, and iv only been here for a week buts its amazing all of the difreant techniques you can use to LD, and just the concept is amazing in itself, as you said.

For me, I just write them down in the morning or early afternoon. My dream journal is on this website if you want to find it. Just look for " Oniman's dream journal ". The first real entry can be a dream you remember from a long time ago to get your brain in the mindset of doing it. The first night I remembered a dream, and I am up to 4 or 5 dreams a night ( 2 or 3 on average, 4 or 5 on good nights ). Good luck.
