      Nice to meet you

I`m Nekomu, which means "cat dream". I have recently begun reading the works of Robert Moss but am not having much success working with my dreams. I usually remember them but have no idea what they mean, and never find any advice. Is anyone else familiar with Robert Moss?

      Nekomu

I can see you're new here so let me be the first to welcome you. Hope you like it.
I am not familiar with Robert Moss, but if it has to do with dreaming, I'll most definitely check it out. I can tell you from personal experience, that I've never really found any meaning in my dreams, guidance or helpful information. No one has truly discovered the purpose and meaning of dreams, so don't get so caught up trying to interpret them. I think that 9 times out of 10, the dream is arbitrary, pointless. But every once in a while, a dream can be a reflection of our most inner psyche's, desire's, issues and so on. but most likely they are pointless, so don't strain yourself.
Do not try and bend the spoon. That's impossible. Instead...only try to realize the truth. There is no spoon. Then you'll see, that it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

Welcome to Dream Views What language does Nekomu mean cat in? I am not familiar with Moss, but I do suggest you read the works of Stephen LaBurge. His best book is Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming. Its a great and informative read.

As for dream meanings, I don't usually feel that many dreams have meanings. I mean, the ones that do will be reocurring or obvious to you when you wake up. Other then that, just enjoy the dreams for what they were. Have you checked out the tutorials here?: http://dreamviews.com/community/showthread.php?t=69883

So what got you into Lucid Dreaming, or Dream meanings and what do you hope to acheive here? If you ever need any help around the forums, feel free to send me a PM. Good Luck!
