a lucid dream, i think

hi everyone. first off, i'd like to introduce myself. my name is candace and i found this place through a friend. he's totally into dreaming! anyway, about 3 days ago i had this dream where i was walking along my street and i saw a parade. at the front was a clown which must have been 15 feet tall. it looked like he was on stilts. then i looked toward my house and saw a boat in its place. like the titanic. and it wasn't long after that that i realized i was in a smaller boat, and the road was actually a river. i started to get kinda scared because i hate water. then my best friend paddled a boat past me and said something like, i like crazy dreams! I was like, wut!!!! i'm dreaming??? then i looked at the water one more time and now i was in a hot air balloon about 100 feet in the air! i got scared and woke up! was this a lucid dream?

!! Here's the question to determine if your were Lucid or not: Did you know you were dreaming? The definition of a Lucid Dream is to be conscious, or aware, of the dream state. It you were not aware, then you weren't Lucid, and vise-versa.

i guess i sorta knew, but i didn't really believe i was. more like i was hoping i was so that i wouldn't get hurt.
