      help with WILD

      hey, im semi-new to the forums (i look around alot, but i dont post) and ive been doing alot of reserch on WILD and SP, but when i try it, i keep reaching a minor (or possibly non-minor) problem, i have trouble keeping still, my body will twich right around the point when i start feeling the vaibrations (wich as far as i kno, are signs ur ABOUT to enter SP, if im wrong plz correct me) so basicly what im asking is does anyone have any advice on keeping still (ive tryed thinking about it a lil, ive tryed not thinking about it at all, ive tryed drinking an energy drink b4 bed [dont ask why i thought it would work] and i havent gotten any significant difference with any of those)also i try to keep my eyes as still as i can, but this can be a bit chalenging, nothing that i rly need help with but any advice would be welcome

      p.s. yes i know, my spelling and grammer can suck, plz dont shoot me

      I'm a strong believer that the "staying completely still" idea is nonsense.
      Not only is it unnatural but it's uncomfortable and more likely to keep you awake.

      Watch someone falling asleep on a train. Are they sitting rigid upright not moving a muscle? or do they move around getting comfortable and just relaxing.

      The idea with staying still, is not to be rigid like a statue, just not to move more than you need to to stay comfortable. Ideally if you can hardly move at all, that's probably going to be better, BUT if the idea of not moving is so strongly in your head that it is keeping you wide awake, then it's pointless.

      If you're uncomfortable, get comfortable.
      Fall asleep naturally.

      Treat your body like its a pet you are trying to sooth, relax it, pamper it, let it fall asleep at its own pace. It is your awareness that matters, thats the bit to put your focus on, not your body.

      spaceexplorer is exactly right. The main reason for you staying still is so you are relaxed. If you have to move, then move, just do it slowly and in a relaxing way Sleeping is all about being comfortable, never forget that.

      yea i kno that im not suposed to be rigid still, i relax as much as possible, bet what happens is a kinda, i supose you could call it a twitch almost, but not as severe, is this still not a problem?
