      Starting, Odd Dream?

      I'm trying to start to lucid dream and ATM I'm trying to get my brain to remember dreams. I started last night, and surprisingly just telling myself I would remember the dream worked, but its a little fuzzy.
      It was a somewhat weird dream, I dreamed I was trying to lucid dream, then I woke up in my dream and recalled my dream about trying to lucid dream. I'm not sure if I actually woke up or not but I'm pretty sure I didn't. There was something before dreaming about lucid dreaming but I lost it :\. Has something to do with some kind of object though that's all I remember.

      Anyways, I have a few questions. This one might be dumb, but if I lucid dream do you have to sleep longer just because your somewhat awake? And WILD more effective than DILD?

      Hey. When you lucid dream, it is the same as regular dreaming. It does not take away from your sleep. DILDs and WILDs are both ways to get lucid and i am pretty sure they have the same effectiveness. Although DILDs are way easier for me.
