      dream about a lucid dream?

does this mean I am getting close to having a real lucid dream?

Last night (apparently I was dreaming in my dream). In this dream I said "this isn't right, it's must be a dream". Apparently I got too excited and woke up though.

But come this morning when I woke up for real I can't really "remember" waking up from that lucid dream. SO I think maybe I never did wake up but instead I dreamed of having a lucid dream and dreamed of waking up.

Oh this sucks finally so close but it's fake

I would say you went lucid for a brief moment there... but then you had a false awakening. So you had a lucid dream. They will get longer by more practice.

darnit, I had another lucid dream today but when I went lucid I woke up.

I was going up a dark staircase at the top a monster or something jumped out and scared me, so I fell backwards, as I was falling down the staircase i said to myself this is gotta be a dream, then I heard a wind blowing/gusting sound and then I woke up even though i told myself not to wake up.

i guess i got too excited but I didn't really have a choice, I guess you have to be excited if you are falling backwards down the stairs

It's okay. Something similar happened to myself last night. I realized I was dreaming (I won't tell you how) and then I must have woken up because I don't recall anything else after that. I actually didn't recall it until I had been thinking about more recent dreams for a while. Stupid subconscious.

It's a good sign, though. It shows that lucid dreaming is permeating your subconsicous and possibly will lead to more results. Good luck, friend!

      wow. you know what's weird?
I'm seeing these posts in a lot of other places. Dreaming about lucid dreaming. I had one myself a couple days ago. Maybe 1/4 the world population had lucid dreaming inside a dream 3 nights ago.
