      My Dreams

Hey, as you can see by my post count I'm new to this community. I found out about here while looking for some info about LDs.

Well, my first Lucid Dream was odd, mostly because it had been long since I last thought about LDs and then I got one. The dream was that I was at this local mall with my mom, we were gonna exit. Then this guy(or maybe me, I can't remember) does some weird movements and I say "Why the hell did he/I just do that?!", then I realized it was a dream, and not only did I became lucid, but I could control my movements as well. I gave a few steps, it all felt very funky. Then I thought "I had to fly!" so I jumped off and actually flew for about half a second, everything felt very funky, then everything turned white and I woke up.

Then later(another day) I had another LD, I could not control myself though, and it was very short too, mostly because I wasn't fully asleep. I can't remember the dream though.

My biggest problem to attain lucidity is that I can't reason during dreams, for example: in real life I have two pairs of eyeglasses, both are small and modern, Yesterday I had a dream in which I was wearing some big glasses, but I didn't notice that those weren't mine! There has also happened that I look at one person, and when I look at them again they're another person, but I still don't notice.

If anyone has any help it would be much appreciated.

Hey CJ, welcome to DV Make sure in these lucid dreams that you stabilize before you do anything else. It'll make the dream nice and steady around you and get you back into a mindframe similar to waking life, versus dream craziness. This should help you with waking up too fast, and also with weird stuff like the glasses.
