First post and first lucid dream

Hello, I'm new to this lucid dreaming thing and I'd like to tell you about the only lucid dream I had so far. It was some time ago, I was at my grandparents house and I fell asleep on the bed on one afternoon.

There I was lying in the bed on my back. I wanted to turn to the left, but I couldn't! My body just wouldn't move, no matter how hard I tried. Instead of finding it weird, I just tried harder and harder and in the end I was able to move. At the next moment, I saw myself pushing an old rusty bike I had as a kid. I tripped and fell over it. Often just before falling asleep, I can sort-of feel it, I notice that my thought are becoming "chaotic". Well, I thought this was just one of those moments and said to myself "Whoa, I almost fell asleep there." Then the next second I realised that I am dreaming.

First thing that came across my mind was sex. So I just made a girl to do me a blowjob, but I couldn't feel anything. I got angry (lol) and decided to try something else. I thought what it would be like if I was a girl, so I made myself into one I know and summoned another one (I don't know what happened with the first girl).

At that moment I head someone running down the stairs and telling me in a scared voice to be quiet. I opened my eyes and found myself in the room, with a man standing in front of my bed. I didn't look up and I couldn't see his face. I saw my grandfather on the next bed sleeping and then I woke up. I was in the exact same position as in the dream and on the next bed was my mother (in a similar or same position as grandad in the dream).

I hope that was not complicated. Anyway, this forum seems cool and I hope I'll get more and better lucid dreams in the future with all the tips and tricks here.

Hey. sounds like you had sleep paralysis and then went into a dream from there. that is pretty common. congrats on your first lucid. You will probably be good at WILDing if you did it unintentionally.

dream journal's definitely a good idea if you don't have one already.

it sounds like you had a pretty awesome and relatively long lucid dream, with a pretty good amount of control too which is great.

For the next one, definitely look into learning about increasing the clarity of your lucid dreams and learning better ways to control them. Also remember, recording them is important, whilst you might remember it a little clearer than most dreams, just like any other dream, it'll fade away from memory if you're not careful

Hey thanks everyone for the welcome! When I read about the wild it seemed like an awfully difficult thing to do, didn't realise I had one by accident. And I'll start the dream journal as soon as I can, last two nights I couldn't remember anything, every time I woke up my mind told me "screw the writing down, go back to sleep"

Today after doing push-ups I got really sleepy, and since the wild tutorial said naps are good to try it, I thought "time for some wilding!" So I lied down on my back trying to relax, clear the mind etc. and after a while got those hypnosomething halucinations. I kinda felt like my hands going numb like the lack of blood flow, but didn't want to move. In the end the numbness started to spread from the hands to the rest of the body. At first it wasn't so bad, but then in my right hand it started being so uncomfortable I couldn't stand it. I moved and it went away, but the right hand was still numb and I couldn't move it for another few seconds. Now it felt almost exactly like the lack of blood flow, but I kept the hands resting on my chest while I was on my back, so I don't think it was that. But if it was sleep paralysis, wouldn't my whole body affected the same? I spent about 20 minutes lying down until that happened.
