Hmm when you wake up paralyzed have you tried to WILD? |
|
Hey everyone. I never thought I'd be posting on here, but I am growing concerned as the recurrence of my "problem" has greatly increased. Let me start off by saying that I remember tons of my dreams, especially ones that were really good. I mainly remember nightmares, of which I have 1-8 (roughly) per year, and I remember nearly every single one from probably the age of six. The reason I remember them is for one reason and one reason only, which is the odd effect that they have on my body in bed. When I am frightened in a dream (thinking of it literally gives me the chills) I feel a sudden sense of vibration, almost violent feeling and sounding like a firehouse siren. The dream gets extremely narrow, and I wake up paralyzed for about ten seconds, my arms tingling massively and body in a cold sweat. It really bugs me, because it is a very uncomfortable experience. While you may find it humorous, about four times this week the girl from The Ring has stepped into my dreams and had the most powerful effect ever. Upon seeing her, the vibration is brutal and the paralysis upon waking is longer. Why the hell does this happen to me? |

Hey Marconis, sounds like you are suffering from bouts of sleep paralysis. This phenomenon is not rare, nor is it dangerous, though it can be pretty terrifying. I recommend just researching it as much as you are able, to help you become comfortable with it and to realize that it is harmless, and that to lessen the fear you must remain relaxed. |

Hey Marconis, I'm pretty new to this whole scene. I just wanted to let you know I know exactley how you feel. Well probably not exactley, mine sounds a little different. I can induce sleep paralysis every night if I lay on my back. It never fails. It's just so damn terrifying that I never do. Mine will start as I'm falling asleep and right before I start dreaming my body locks up and I immediately start to try and snap out of it. A dream will start while I am in this state and it is always a vivid horrific nightmare. The first time I experienced this the dream was two or three witch looking women that picked me up while I was paralyzed and started shaking the hell out of me and screaming at the top of their lungs. It was so intense I couldn't believe it. I eventually woke up after I thought I couldn't take the nightmare anymore and for a good minute or two as I was waking up I could actually feel where the witch things had grabbed my arms. Then I get these vibrating pulse sensations that start from my head and travel down my entire body. It's sucks so bad that I'm literally scared to fall asleep on my back. It doesn't sound like these occurrences can physically damage you no matter how much it feels like they do. So good luck man, hopefully we can manipulate these to trigger some bad ass lucid dreams |
