      Vivid thinking

Howdiedudie, a while back I read a post and it said that "when I first wake up I close my eyes and day dream and it's vivid", well something like that, but anyways I thought it was kind of silly, but I woke up like at 4:00am from a sweet dream that I tried my best to hang on to.
I knew I was awake, I was just trying to think the rest of it which did not work (heart-break) but like that person said, it was pretty clear.
Why would that day dream or imagining be more clear then than any other time of day?

I don't know much about DEILDing, but I do know that although I rarely have success like this, once I was having a really good dream (can't remember what it was though, and I started to wake up. The dream started slipping away, but I remember thinking "Oh no you f$%&*#g don't!" and kind of held onto it.

Yes, I have great success with DEILDs. THat's how I have all my LDs. You should try it too.

When I didn't DEILD, sometimes I would have a good dream that would end before really ending so i would daydream the rest. The daydream would be one of the most vivid daydreams I'd get. (not so much vivid though). I guess that like eppy said, its because we're still asleep really close from DEILDing...

What's the difference between daydreaming it after the dream and dreaming it?
Isn't it both dreaming it again?

Daydreaming is easier to wake up from, lighter if you want so. You can be concsious of daydreaming, know what's external and internal input.
In a dream you don't, your brain reacts as if the dream were real.

      That's the main difference.

Seriously though, DEILDing just a Form of dream where you re enter the dream, after you wake up, right?

But daydreaming is not as vivid as a dream. Well, for me.... I don't feel as I am really there. It's more like a movie you are the producer of...
