This was the best recall I've had in a dream for a long time, and by far the best since I got into Lucid Dreaming. It was very influenced by real events, some of which I have listed on the bottom of the page. Where unspecified, the dream took place in first person view.
I found myself on the crystalline white slopes of Andorra, looking out over the magnificent Pyrenees. I skied away from my family, and after a while, I was startled to notice that I had no idea where I was going. I was lost. Out of the blue, the dream switched to bird's eye view, and I was looking down on a partially constructed village, with both Medieval and Futuristic themes. I didn't know why, but I was certain that the village was mine. After a while, I was transported to another village, similar but not identical, which, (I'm a bit sketchy on details at this point) I somehow captured. There were plutonium reactors in the village, which I adjusted somehow so that they shot massive plumes of steam into the air. The view temporarily switched to third person view, and I followed a group of people who had appeared out of nowhere. When we passed over a ridge of snow, I looked down to see my village. Sometime around this point I lost control of my skis, and careened down an extremely long, steep slope. Once again, I was lost. With no method of getting back up to the village save taking off the skis and hiking up the slope in highly uncomfortable boots, I started to get annoyed, to say the least. However, I heard my father calling me, and turned around to my family waiting in an old-western style village, at the base of the mount. We went back to our room, and then the setting flashed to the next day. For some unfathomable reason, we went up on the piste without skis, just the boots, which were NOT made for walking.
After walking for a while, I was transported inside, to a room which mimicked my friend's living room, except there was less light there. I was playing Assassin's Creed, until a man came in to pass on a message from my parents: It's time to go. He asked that I take out Assassin's Creed and put in some other game, which seemed to revolve solely around the Flash, from the Justice League.
At this point, my mother called to wake me up. Aargh, sometimes parents can be a pain.
Influences from Real Life
1. I visited Andorra over Christmas, gorgeous place. Some of this dream mimicked real life. For example, going up without skis, this I think reflected the last day of the holiday, when my dad went up on the slopes. The rest of us stayed behind, but we had already returned the skis, so my dad had to rent them out again, with a lot of confusion following.
2. The bird's eye view, and the whole episode with the villages was a combination of Red Alert 2, and Tribal wars. My mind is a strange thing.
3. The Flash thing, I couldn't make out, because I never watch the Justice League.
4. As for Assassin's Creed, I had a brief obsession with that game, finished it in a few days.
All in all, It's quite strange, because I don't play that many games, but they seem to frequent my dreams. Maybe they're a dreamsign, I don't know.
Question: I'm really starting to think that people in my class are a dreamsign. However, how can I associate reality checks with people in my class if I see them for 7 hours a day? I think I might do one every time the bell rings at the end of class, but the bell has never actually been included in my dreams, any ideas?
P.S. I'm nearly up to date on my Dream Journal.
