No experience here, but I think it would be quite hard to keep your attention at staying still and keeping your head clear and not wander off. I don't know how it is with others, but for me, when I'm drunk, concentration isn't really a thing I'm good at. Also keep doing the thing your doing is hard, you'll drift off very soon.
What's the difference between dreaming that you're lucid and lucid dreaming?

I fall alseep too easily when I'm drunk, I can't keep my mind awake if drunk.

I imagine it would be harder. Usually the only thoughts on my mind as Im slumped over in a chair or sprawled out on the floor are, "Dont throw up" "Oh God" And "Tomorrows going to suck"

I'll be honest, I'm always too groggy and lazy when I'm drunk to care about WILDing. I personally think it would be too hard since you get sleepy, distracted, whatever when you're drunk. It's already fairly hard as it is to stay focused and clear of mind without being drunk but you're welcome to try it probably is possible just really hard?

drinking is never helpful for LD methods I find. When I drink, I just wanna go to bed and no one better wake me up till im sober and then when i do wake up, i feel like shit. So I would just stay away from drinking and LD. Dont drink and Dream hehe.

Actually barbizzle, I've a few lucid dreams while sleeping off hangovers. It's a great way to get through them, better than being conscious for them. I would definitely recommend LDing during hangovers, just not while still drunk.

I have a lot of success WILDing after a night of drinking. Only if I've had a few drinks. Obviously, too many, and I'll zonk out until 3pm the next day.

For me, it has to do with the stimulant effects of alcohol. After a few hours of sleep, I wake up with my heart racing like crazy, and can't get back to sleep. I then have to get out of bed to calm down, drink some water, and relax. It is sort of like a forced WBTB.

I don't want to encourage anyone to drink more than they do anyways, but honestly, for me, it is very consistent and successful. I have the same success rate when I do a regular WBTB. I guess it just forces me to WBTB on a weekend.
