Smile Help ! ....new here :D

Hi, im new in this community. Well I discovered this site a few days ago but just today my account was created.

Well the point of this topic is too see if someone here con answer my question(s).

Before I read about lucid dreaming and stuff I already had experienced some of this situations without previous knowledge of it. When I began reading about this I had tried every night to have lucid dreams. Here is when the story begins. I went to a lake for vacations, in the south of Chile. It is a very beautiful place and a very good setting for relaxing. When dreaming this is what happened:

First Night: The first night I dreamed I was with a friend, a friend in the dream because I didn't knew him from real life, and we wanted to prank the school or something. After that we decided to hack the school data base. When I was dreaming this I said to me "oh this is a dream, its awesome" but I couldn't reach the point were I could control myself. Then ,in the dream, the school inspectors and authorities caught us. I could feel really nervous and in the dream i said to myself, "I'm done". After that the dream ended. I couldn't reach to control myself in any point of the dream, although I could identify that it was a dream. I was 100% sure.
In the same night I had another dream. In the dream I saw myself in a pretty dark world but the only thing that I saw was a stair and myself running upwards it. In the dream I saw myself running very very fast. I'm not very fast in real life, but not slow, just normal. When I saw this I said to myself, "wow, I'm running pretty fast, how I am doing this? I'm in a dream. I'm going very fast!" Then the dream ended. I just run up the stairs. By the way, the stairs were "Rocky" style, the ones in Philadelphia I think.

Ok now that I told my dreams the question is. What is that I have to to so that when I reach the point I'm completely sure I'm in a dream I can control myself?

I would really appreciate an answer.
I am dying to know how it feels to lucid dream in a pro way.

PS: an extra questions for the ones who know: If I can lucid dream easily and I'm, for example, in a dream that happens in my room, can I transport myself to a valley to fly? Does the dream have frontiers?

      Thanks for reading

      I forgot to say:

DON'T GO BACK TO SLEEP AFTER HAVING YOUR LD!

if you do go back to sleep (even if you just had the single most vivid lucid dream you've ever experienced in your life), its all going to be forgotten in the morning. You'll remember it as though it were just another normal dream where you said "I'm dreaming."... You don't want that, so follow those steps, and dream lucidly 8)
I read this a minute ago, I think that might be happening to me. But the problem is that I don't get awake in any part of my sleep :S

Hey gasmask. Do a lot of reality checks and look at Billybob's dream control tutorial. Dream control is a hard thing for some people. I try everything and it doesn't work so I just go with the flow.Sometimes transporting yourself in a dream is hard. I usually just try to find what I am looking for on foot, running fast and flying is hard for some people, including me, so it might take practice.

eppy summed it up well. BillyBob's Tutorial is very good. I would suggest looking through here too.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me or any of the Dream Guides.

Welcome, good luck, and happy lucids.
      Bollocks.
