Thread: help needed with WILD

Ok I'm still a newbie despite trying several times over a year span, I never had any lucid dream experience. I've recently attempted WILD technique and remains unsuccessful and would like to know what I'm doing wrong. This is what I got most recently.

Last morning at 4am, I laid on my bed absolutely still for about 40 minutes and I could feel my limbs go numb and there were occassional twitch here and there. I also felt wave of bright light going through my body. Whenever I got those sensations I ended up focusing on it, which made me loose the numbness and went back to waking conscious. After repeating it for few times, I finally started hearing noises. I could hear beeping sounds (which were in sync with my heart beat) and as for my vision, I was looking at what looked like a TV screen with no signal. Then I started seeing a patch of blue sky on the screen and focusing on it made the patch grow bigger. The same time, beeping sound became extremely annoying because the more I focus, the interval at which it beeps became shorter and also became louder. I kind of panicked because I didn't know what to do next so I had to let go of my mind. Next I saw myself being in the kitchen telling my brother about having sleep paralysis and suddenly remembered I should be in my bed. Then I woke up.

Any advices? Should I just keep practicing?
