      Best time to Sleep?

      Well i tried get a LD last night but i couldnt get to sleep. I tried going to sleep at 11:22 Because i was reading beforehand. So i lay down and start repeating "Remember to reality check" and "I will remember my dreams" But i couldnt fall asleep. So my question is, Whats the best time to go to sleep to get a LD?

      I'm not going to add an LD count because I sort of don't keep count. I've had about 2-3 WILDs... i think and one or two DILDS.

      In my opinion what time you go to sleep has no effect on lucid dreaming. It is more about how much sleep you get and if you wake up during the night.

      This except we all wake up we just don't remember it

      I find it easier to WILD if it's dark though... I have done it in the morning.

      Edit: Oh wait this has nothing to do with WILDs...

      Okay. Well thats seems fair enough. So i woke up last night at like 5:00. Is there any way to LD after waking up? (btw from 5:00, i have 2 hours till i have to wake up)

      You should just be entering REM actually.. I calculated mine by seeing what time I wake up every night.. It's around the same time. You can try and DEILD or WILD.. I wouldn't try a WBTB because of job/school.

      If you have good recall, you could try the MILD technique.

      Well im thinking about this now and im starting to think about trying MILD. Im going to Make a 90 Min file that has a chime at the end.

      That should work... Say wake up around say 4:30 hours after sleep and put your headphones on and go back to sleep.

      That's an EILD (externally induced lucid dream)
      if you can read this then you are about to be punched

      i dont think it really matters what time u go to sleep.. but my most vivid lucid dreams id say is when i nap or when i wake up in the middle of the night and go back to sleep
