      Blindness

This afternoon I was practicing the WILD technique and was in SP for about 40 minutes and experienced no vibes so I felt like it just wasn't going to work. But instead of giving up like usual and opening my eyes I tried to roll out of my body and sure enough it worked. The problem is that I could not see anything. I could feel myself moving around and even floating around and basically just running into things. But everything was solid black no matter how hard I tried to visualize and create a setting. It was like I was stuck inside my own pitch black apt. I then figured if I could fly through the wall outside I would open up another scene, but when i would go through the same thing just kept happening. I even spun around and did front flips and back flips trying to get something to happen but nothing did and thats all I remember. This has been the case about 25% of the time when I get a succesful WILD that I usually get too frustrated and wake up or fall asleep. Any suggestions on how to turn this blindness into a vivid lucid?

Sorry if this has been discussed before I am new to the forums and could not find anything talked about on this.

Did you try opening and closing your eyes?

In such situations you are left to your own experimentation. The spinning thing is often used to enhance the LD. So is yelling out commands such as "clarity" etc. Experiment with such concepts and remember, even if this happened to you, don't think it will always be like this. Consider it a fluke and approach it positively next time. If it happens again, convince yourself or even say it out loud, that the faster you fly or spin, the more bright your surroundings will become or something to that extent.

      Good luck!

Like Bonsay said, its all up to you in this situation. Try conjuring a flashlight so you can see around you
