      Smile Hi There!

      Hey everyone

Can't wait to meet you all and have such wonderful friends here

Im pretty young... Am I allowed to say my age? because last time I went to a forum and I said my age and then the next thing you know I get banned

Ah. Anyways. Hows everyone doing? Good I hope because Im reeallly reallyy excited to start Lucid Dreaming!

and I need you all to support me and help me gain this state and I will work my best to achieve it

So I get the basic thing about Lucid Dreaming.

For now. I just want to get the DILD concept going.

So starting from the morning. For RC i usually look at my hands and fingers and check if they are okay and normal or not. Then I usually pinch my hand to see if their is pain or not as I got that from a guide. Can anyone confirm this? and also sometimes I ask myself in my head Am I Dreaming? and I also look around a bit whenever I get to a new environment. If I keep doing that, will that be okay for my RCs?

And for Mantras.. I dont really know what to sayy.. I was thinking about saying I will know when Im Dreaming. Is that good? I didn't really want something thats long so i'll forget.. but ehh.. if you guys think thats bad then suggest me something good .

I don't know how to clear my mind.. is there like a good way of doing that? Because Im really stressed about my school, schoolwork and tutor.. What should I do to minimize that? Also my parents give me a hard time

      And last but not least.

When ever I wake up... I simply DO NOT remember anything I dreamt last night. Even when I wake up, instantly after that I cannot remember anything. Is this weird? how can I start remembering my dream? I have made a dream journal and it is now underneath my pillow with a pen for easy access incase I remember something after I wake up from my sleep.

      So thats about it.

      Peace

Hey there, welcome to Dream Views! My name is Jonathan, and I'm a Dream Guide here. We hang around all the forums in case you need any help or have have questions. Along with our other amazing members, we can just about answer any questions you might have. You should be 15 to join Dream Views though, it was part of terms of use you agreed to when you created your account. (I'm not supposed to say this, BUT if for some reason you are NOT at least 15, just don't give us any reason to look into you age. ie, don't say it and don't act immaturely here. but shhh, I said nothing )

Anyway, Your reality checks and mantras sound great. The only thing I might change is the pinching your hand. You can feel pain in a dream, especially a Lucid Dream if you choose to. Instead, I would try pinching your nose to see if you can still breathe through it. If you can, your in a dream.

When you go to sleep at night, you don't need to clear your mind completely; just try not to think about the next day though, it will kill your dream recall. Instead, think of your dreams that you had the night before, or try to day dream if you haven't had a dream you can remember for a while. Imagine yourself going Lucid a dream as you fall asleep.

Dream Recall is very very very important If you don't remember your dreams, you might not even remember all the times you have been Lucid, or will be Lucid. Make sure you go to bed and wake up at the same time each night with 8 hours of sleep. Stay with this pattern even on the weekend if you can. You need to let your mind know your sleeping patterns so it can expect to recall dreams. When you wake up, lay still and write down ANYTHING you can remember, even if it is just a feeling. After a week or so, your recall should improve by doing these things. This tutorial on dream recall might help: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=66343

While I'm mentioning tutorials, make sure to check them all out as they are invaluable to anyone attempting to have Lucid Dreams. http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=75

Once your recall improves, you could also start keeping a dream journal here Its a great way to inspire other people who are starting out. So take a look at other Dream Journals and start your own here! http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...splay.php?f=26

I hope that all helped, and if you ever have any questions, feel free to just post them, ask any of the other Dream Guides, or send me a PM Good Luck with your Lucid Dreams!

      Wow..

      Thanks alot!

Also for RC I wrote down Dream on my hand and i look at it every hour and after i look at it, i look at it again to see if it has changed.

      Btw.

Im REALLY scared for going into Sleep Paralysis that if I see something scary and hear voices and cannot move. Is there anyway of me from preventing sleep paralysis?

Also I recalled one of my dream and wrote 2 pages about it

      kinda magic xD

      Thanks

      Welcome to DreamViews ^.^

As for sleep paralysis, it usually doesn't occur unless you follow the WILD technique. Though sometimes it does happen unconciously, but don't worry about it. It's all in your head, nothing will happen to you.
