First LD (that i was able to keep)

I had a two dreams last night, however only one was lucid. it was strange however, that since the mind takes everything to be reality, that i became lucid without any planned reality checks. i haven't done any in weeks, or thought much about LD'ing since ive been busy with school.

there was a HUGE pile of trading cards in one dream, and i was trying to find a certain one. i looked away and looked back, and there was only a small amount, with the others nowhere to be seen. i realized that there was no way that many could just vanish, and realized i was dreaming, and everything went black for a few seconds. the dream faded back into view, and i was in the same place, still knew i was lucid, and continued the dream for what felt like hours. this was also at 7:30 am, on a weekend, so i was able to sleep this long.

is noticing that certain things are impossible a reliable way of inducing an LD without forms of reality checks?

      Well it's not really reliable...

People like to do RCs when weird things happen during the day, so when weird things happen in dreams, they hope to do a RC.

This is good, but in dreams, you don't normally notice when things are impossible, or improbable.
      Bollocks.
