Difference Between Low Quality LD and Dreaming of Being Lucid?

Recently I had a dream that I think was lucid for a bit but I'm not sure if it was me dreaming that I was lucid or if it was just a low quality lucid dream. So, how can you tell the difference between the two?

      Any help would be appreciated

btw the lucid part went something like this:
I was dancing near this person I've never met on a table in a hoiuse i've never seen when suddenly I thought that I must be dream. Then I started to lose the dreamscape so I closed my eyes and began to spin. That's when I woke up But the lucid part didn't feel much like real life. It felt kind of like a normal dream so I'm not sure what happened there

I can't really explain what it feels like to be lucid vs. dreaming of being lucid..

The only difference(for me) is this: In my normal dreams, there are two perspectives, I see the dream in two views. I see through the eyes of a certain character(either myself or a random DC who is "me"). I also see through a certain omnipresence..I'm experienceing the dream while watching the dream.
This feeling dissapears when I'm lucid.

I'm not sure if this is common though, or if you've experienced something similar, but hopefully it helps you a bit.

I know what you're talking about and that kind of helps
It's still hard for me to distinguish but I'm figuring that if I'm unsure it's probably not a lucid dream

The fact that you began to lose the dreamscape and then woke up suggests that there was probably a spike in consciousness. So I think you were probably lucid.

When I have a low-lucidity LD, my thoughts are basically rational but they're not the same thoughts I would have whilst awake. I can't think clearly and so that's why I always forget to stabilise the dream properly. If you're just dreaming of it then you'll probably think "I'm dreaming" and then continue with random dream nonsense.
