Welcome to DV, Origami Duck! I made an origami pheasant one time. I turned out pretty cool

There's a Dream Recall tutorial that you can check out if you haven't already. It has some useful hints and tips that you can apply when journaling. Personally, the thing that's worked best for me is when I wake up, I don't move. If my alarm clock goes off I'll hit the snooze button but then I just lay there and think of the last thing that happened in my dream. Usually if I can remember a small detail, more details will come back and I just work backwards from there. Just don't lay there too long or you can wake up too much and lose the dream anyway. It takes a little practice, but it's worth it.

The other thing I've found that's helped is just sheer consistency. Write your dreams down every day. By remaining consistent, you're training yourself to recall your dreams so that when you wake up, that's just what you do and it will become easier with practice. If you want to progress even further, record your dreams during the night. Either set your alarm clock to wake you up after a dream or motivate yourself to grab your journal when you naturally wake up during the night. You don't have to record every detail, but make a general outline of what happened. You might be surprised what crazy dreams you can have at 3am

I hope this was helpful. Let us know if there's anything else we can do! Sweet lucid dreams!
