I was trying to make a WILD yesterday and had partial success, I ended up paralyzed a few times but that freaked me out and I broke it (that was unespected of me) and finally I was dreaming. I was in a school with my old class and head teacher. I was partially aware I was dreaming but somehow unconvinced. When my teacher morphed into one of the students I didn't have to be Einstein... So I realised I was dreaming and thought I might try the door trick I read in a lucid dreaming manual, where you can "expect" to find something behind a door and when you open it you will find it. Well, I wanted to visit a female cartoon character and expected to find myself in the cartoon world behind the door. Then on closer inspection, I realised there was her picture glued on the door, but the picture was altered and made her look bad. So I opened the door and behind was a regular spiral staircase... I walked up a bit, then to speed up floated a bit and ended up in a big hallway. I could hear voices on the lower floor and tried to float there but it was like some force was pulling me back. All the time I was floating I could hear this weird buzzing sound and I could not float in any direction I wished. In a short while the dream suddenly faded and I was seeing blackness. From that point I just woke myself up. There are a lot of questions coming up from the experience but the main thing I want to know is why the door trick failed. Do I have to expect something in more correlation with the environment? Would I be more successful if I found a TV and jumped into it?
