Hi, I'm new here and haven't had a lucid dream yet but I'd like to have one. The concept sounds really cool. |

hi! it can feel as real, even real-er than real life. Lucid dreaming differs from astral projection in the sense that people who "astrally project" think they are doing so but are in fact just dreaming, and in lucid dreams you realize this. |

TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
new goals: have more LD's than Shift[X]
10-15min LD [ X] Article: A day in the life of an LD-er
the "Mind V.S. Body" Induction technique
Everyman 2 LD's/ sleep schedule progress
When you first gain the ability to become lucid you fell amazed and the simplest things will amuse you, and as you try different induction techniques and learn to gain control and vividness you will be able to do some pretty cool things, like flying etc. |

recreation is our destination
what if my normal dreams are not vivid at all, can it become realistic in lucid dreaming too? |
|
Yes. There are certain techniques used to increase the clarity of dreams. Also vividness, it depends on a lot of different factors but normally during your REM stage (dream stage) dreams will be so vivid that they're like real life. It's hard to remember how vivid dreams are if you're not lucid though, but in my experiences in LDs, they are all extremely vivid. You'll see what I mean once you have a LD |
