Thread: Question about graphic dreams?

That is normally a judgement call... The Dream Journal section is not only to share dreams, but to keep a digital copy of your dreams. If you feel a dream is too graphic, I would advise you not to share it. If it was troubling, and you feel a need to post it, feel free, but try to word it in a way that is not offensive. And if it is sexual, try not to broadcast it.

As for violent dreams, I love them. Its basically the same. You can post them, but e nice about it.

Generally speaking, it's alright to talk about the fact that in a dream, you had sex. Going into explicit details is a little... much. Extremely graphic things really don't NEED to be expressed, so it's always just better to avoid it.

Keep it clean.
Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.

If you DO feel the need to go into very explicit details in your dream journal, I recommend just adding a disclaimer so that people know what they are getting into, and maybe keeping the really iffy stuff under a spoiler. Just use the <SPOILER="name of spoiler text"]</SPOILER] tags, with the two <s replaced with [s. I don't really feel that highly explicit posts, outside of a dream journal, really have any place on the regular forums though.
