      Im not a newbie...

But Im back, and trying to get the hang of it all again.

So, I am curoius about alot.
Can not sleeping along time, less then eight hours effect my dreams?

Can caffine have to do anything with the fact that all my dreams are nightmares?

And can drinking mass amounts of caffine and falling asleep effect dreams in a possitive way? I know it can effect them in a negitive.

So if you could share some thoughts or stories it will be helping out an old friend!

It's swell to be back, yall.

doesn't really matter how long you sleep in my experience, it mostly matters what time you get to sleep. don't ask why but if you go to bed later (11:30 or something) you have less chance to go lucid.

doesn't make much sense cause but that's how it works
i would expect that drinking coffee before bed would help lucidity, make you more aware and stuff and probly let you WILD better.

That seems strange, and I don't go to bed early at all.
But, I guess I should try and see if it the lack of sleep that is causing me to not have lucids.

      Thanks, Tarsier.

And..I may try the coffee as well.

I've never been a supporter of specific required sleep times. I say listen to your body and sleep as much or as little as you want. It is pretty obvious when you are not sleeping enough.

Caffeine can definitely mess with your dreams.

if you start going to bed earlier you will see that i am right, the key is not necessarily how may hours of sleep you get (8 or so is fine) but how late you stay up and how early you get up in the morning. if you have a good schedule of going to bed early and getting up early, that is your best bet, trust me.
