      hi

      im new to this and was wondering if a lucid dream is one you realize your in or one you remember??

      I hope you don't mind, but I split you off to your own thread

      A lucid dream is a dream where you realize it is a dream. There are different levels of lucidity. Sometimes you will have access to your full memories from your waking life, feel exactly like yourself, and be able to reason logically. Other times, you may still be slightly fooled by the dream, continue playing a role, or have wacky dream logic.

      As long as you know you are dreaming, it is a lucid dream. Even if you just wake yourself up immediately after the realization.

      hmm thank you...but my whole life pretty much i have had dreams that i remember one that stands out in my mind is that i was flying and after a while i just came back down i wanted to fly again so badly i sort of did it willingly like it was on purpose but then i wake up.... and most of the times it seems in my dreams that as soon as i realize im in the dream a few seconds later i cant help but to awake this has been happening my whole life... then recently i googled dream control because i was curiouse if it was possible and it brought me to this sitee
