Hello All.

Well where to start....I guess I will start where I started with all this interest in dreaming. More importantly hoping to one day reach Lucid Dreaming.

I always over looked dreaming as I never really could recall my dreams upon waking, I first came acrossed the topic of lucid dreaming in Waking Life a movie which I am sure many of you are familiar with I then started researching the topic in hopes of becoming more aware of my dreams and to become lucid myself. So now I have started to make a concious effort to become more aware of my dreams and strive to remember them, but that is in which the problem lies I very seldom seem to remember them very clearly if at all. It seems like the only times I truly recall my dreams is when I am awoken by them or something else while in the middle of a dream. When this happens I am usually blown away by how vivid they are and how they seem to do such a good job in gathering so many of my thoughts and feelings then putting them into such an interesting dream. I find all the things I am faced with to be truly remarkable. I only wish I could remember my dreams more clearly or at times at all. I have read that in order to become more aware of your dreams and recall them better it is important to keep a dream journal. I find this does help when I am woken in the middle of the night from a dream, as I think about it and write down points from that specific dreams I start to remember other parts of it more clearly....I normally don't write down the entire dream as a story which it appears to me. I did at one point but it takes atleast an hour of my time to do so, so instead I just go for key points then go back over it later to recall it all as a whole in my head. But anyway so yes a dream journal does help me recall more detail of a dream I can recall which in my case I was awoken from. But I never seem to be able to remember dreams which I am not awoken from, if I go to sleep and wake up while not in the middle of a dream I can not remember having any dreams at all for that night, but I know I am having them just unable to remember anything.....so is there anything that can be done in order to remember dreams which you are not awoken from???
I have alot more to say about the dreaming subject but I will leave it at that as the longer I keep ranting im going to have far to many points to address.

Thanks Cody.
