Hello! I have recently discovered this site and I'm really pleased. I've read about lucid dreaming a while ago, but I never really tried it. About a 2 weeks ago I got really into it. I've stared making reality checks pretty much all the time and I've improved my recall. I can now remember at least 2 dreams on most nights. I haven't had a lucid dream with the MILD method yet, but I'm trying to be positive and hope that sometime it will happen
I tried the WILD method a few times and I just can't seem to get it to work. The first few times were probably my fault (I was too exited and almost awake). Whenever I start try to relax my mind becomes too awake and I can't slip into the further stages. Last night my body was completely relaxed (I haven't moved for at least 40 min, I could hardly think of my body) and my mind was focused on breathing or climbing stairs. But I still can't get into the further stages, my body doesn't become paralyzed and I just get frustrated, start moving and fall asleep. I did however feel becoming really dizzy, like someone was shaking my head once. And another time I remember opening my eyes and my room suddently became brighter for a few seconds, but then everything became normal again. Are these some sort of signs before entering sleep paralisys?
