      Wild right before i sleep?

I have been trying to sp right before bed and continue on into a WILD. my question is is it possible? I read back to the SP and WILD tuts and they say its not. So what im asking is has anyone else? Trying to SP before bed has cut down my dream recall because i have less time to sleep. Is it worth it?

Well I get SP naturally and when I do it's very possible to WILD.. personally if your trying to SP for too long then i'd say your doing it wrong.

SP will kick in very quickly, you need to be really tired so your body shuts down faster than your mind... you'll get there!

Keep your mind active and tune into the stereogram.

I did it once... after I stayed awake 22 hours.

Refer to this thread. It's got plenty of answers and such nonsense in it. If you have more questions posting here would probably be a good idea.

I've been trying to WILD right before I sleep. What I found is that if I was to exercise for 30minutes on a treadmill(fast walking), not only do I get to sleep much faster, I find that I get the vibrations much faster. For example, I used to try and WILD and would keep counting into 300 losing the counting ever once in a while, but, I would only feel some heaviness and numbness, never vibrations, etc... When I started to exercise and I made sure to do it before bed, I found that I got vibrations and somewhat strong ones right away. What this basically means and you've probably heard it before plus its already been stated in this thread, is you need to make sure that your body is tired when you get to bed. If you have a job and do some intensive exercise before bed, I am very confident that you'll get SP within minutes of hitting the pillow. All you'll have to do then is make sure to stay conscious through WILDing and you got yourself an LD

you should try it about 2 hrs before your normal waking time. I find that when I wake up at around 7-8am, and stay awake from 10 mins to 1 hr, i get a wild naturally, going from hypnagogic state to a dream, then hypnompompic state, get paralysis, and also lots of false awakenings.
