Thread: Did I go Lucid? Help!

I had this pretty cool dream last night, and at one point after I woke up and tried to go to sleep again I think I went lucid but I'm not sure.

April 16th, 2009

My family and I were going on a vacation to the moon. When we we got to the move everyone could breathe there normaly like we do on Earth. Even though we were already on the moon it seemed like I somehow went back on the ship which we used to travel to the moon, and it was still moving like it was rocking back and forth and vibrating. I remember a certain person on the ship, he was being rude to everyone as he walked through the ship ( Now that I think of it the ship kinda looked like an airplane from the inside. ) and I remember that there was something evil about him liek he was planning something. At one point my parents wanted to leave but I wanted to stay and explore the moon more. When I went out of the ship the moon actualy looked more like mars, the ground was reddish orange instead of white and I remember seeing craters. I could also see space and the earth. I was exploring and I went to this platform like thing, it was kinda like a ladder made of ropes. I don't know why but I think I had to or felt like I had to climb it and jump accros, so I climbed and but I couldn't ump all the way accross.

I think at this point I woke up (Yes I really did wake up), but I didn't remember my dream at the time. I decedided to go back to sleep in case I would have another dream so another dream to get lucid. I kept repeating soemthing to myself like I am dreaming and soon I fell asleep.

Then when I was asleep I ended up at the same point where I think I woke up and my earlier dream. I tried going up the rope ladder/platform but I couldn't do it. I remember my mom was near me but I don't remember what she was saying. So instead I decided to climb up this purple ladder instead and then I think I ran accross the plains and ended at another ladder. I'm not sure if I ran but I remember getting to the other ladder somehow. So I started climbing down the other purple ladder that I came accros and when I wa there my mom was with me. For some reason I thought demons or soemthing evil was going to come (Lol I don't know why I thought that in my dream.)

Then at this point I think I thought I was dreaming and remembered I had this dream before.

Then I think everything went black and I felt soem kinda of pain, like a my body suddenly got shocked or was buzzing. I reminded myself to stay calm so I wouldn't wake up. I didn't do anything special but I tried changing the scene a few times. So I I think I was openening and closing my eyes a few times to see if what I thought of would appear. I remember tryign to change the scene to NEw York city and decided which cloths I wanted to wear. I managed to change the scene to that but it didn't seem real, it felt liek I was looking at a postor of m and a city back ground. I don't remember any movement when I think I was lucid and there was no smells that I can remember. then I think at this point I decided to or I did wake up.

So did I go lucid or did I just have some crazy dream?
I had Green Tea and apple juice last night to see if they would make me have a lucid dream ( I don't think iv had a lucid dream yet ) oh and one question

what exactly is sleep paralisis or however you spell it? And would have some negative effects on my body or woudl it be bad for young people or people a certain age?
