If you knew you were dreaming then you were lucid. Even if you didn't fully seem conscious if you knew you were dreaming then you were lucid, even if it was low-level lucidity. |

I've been trying vaguely for a few months to have a lucid dream - not putting to much effort into it, but counting my fingers etc. whenever I remember, and keeping a dream journal. Then, just the other night, I had to wake up at 12 to pick up my mom from the airport. I got home at about 1:30, and then went back to sleep. I hadn't thought about it at the time, but this is kind of like the wake then back to sleep method, right? So when I fell asleep I had a really weird dream, and I counted my fingers and had six, and then later four, and I managed to make out with Alan Rickman (Score! |

Yes it was. Your logic center is not fully activated (compared to waking levels) when you gain lucidity. I understand your "hovering on the edge" feeling. |

Dream on...
I've had this happen before, it's not as rewarding as a LD where you are truley conscious but it shows your on the right track. |
