Smile Have tried this out before, but don't know where to go?

I've been trying to have a lucid dream for about three months now. So far, the closest I have gotten to is my body having a sensation that I am falling through a black hole (I can sometimes see flashes of light, too). I can hold this feeling for about 5 minutes, but then I always wake up. Also, I've noticed that when I am dreaming I know that I am dreaming, but I can't do anything about it. My dreams seemed almost locked down somehow. Where should I go from here?

      Hey fruitrocks, welcome

I am assuming that you are trying the WILD technique? Well, once you get into the Sleep Paralysis, or SP for short, you have to imagine a dream scape. Picture something that you want to dream about and yourself doing something concrete in that dream. Before you know it, you will just be emersed in that dream and be lucid as well. It takes practice though, the WILD technique is very hard for beginners.

The "locked down" feeling is common with people. Again, it just takes practice. Keep on doing what you are doing and try using different techniques and find which are best for you. Also, use goal setting. Try to make small goals for yourself that will help you to reach your big goal. Such as, try to in one dream spin in circles. Or maybe even just raise your arms. Do small steps and things will become much easier.

Good luck and if you have any other questions dont be scared to ask!
